TODDLER Program

Our Montessori Toddler Program caters to children aged 18 months to 3 years, focusing on fostering independence, language development, and social skills in a prepared environment. Through hands-on activities, toddlers explore practical life skills, sensory experiences, and early cognitive concepts at their own pace. The program emphasizes respect for each child’s individuality, encouraging them to make choices and develop self-confidence. Guided by trained educators, toddlers build a strong foundation for future learning in a nurturing, supportive setting.

Prepared Environment: The toddler environment is designed to promote independence, with child-sized furniture, accessible shelves, and materials that encourage self-directed learning. The space is safe and inviting, allowing toddlers to explore and engage freely.

Practical Life Skills: Toddlers engage in activities like pouring, dressing, cleaning, and food preparation. These practical life exercises help develop fine motor skills, concentration, and a sense of responsibility.

Language Development: Language continues to be a significant focus. Toddlers are introduced to a rich vocabulary through storytelling, singing, and interactive conversations. The environment also includes materials that support early literacy, such as picture books and language cards.

Sensorial Exploration: Montessori materials designed for sensorial development allow toddlers to refine their senses and learn about the world through touch, sight, sound, and smell.

Social Interaction: Social skills are developed through group activities, such as circle time, collaborative play, and shared tasks. Toddlers learn to communicate, share, and cooperate with their peers, fostering empathy and community.

Movement and Coordination: The environment supports the development of gross motor skills, with activities like climbing, balancing, and carrying objects. Toddlers are encouraged to move freely, which is essential for physical development.

Independence and Autonomy: The program encourages toddlers to make choices, complete tasks on their own, and take care of their personal needs, such as dressing or washing hands. This fosters a sense of autonomy and self-confidence.

Creative Expression: Art, music, and movement are integrated into the daily routine, allowing toddlers to express themselves creatively and develop fine motor skills and coordination.
